So I had to move the rail on the inside of the door to the small room as it wouldn't allow the mirror to open into the room. I tried to remove it but the screws on one side were so eroded it was impossible!! Instead I settled for rotating it 90' vertically along the door. I also attached a hook which you can see in the bottom picture which should stop people being able to see all the way in and just create that bit of intrigue as to what is behind the mirror if it is constantly ajar...
