Artwork Part 4

This artwork was inspired by both my Mum and my Dad but also in response to a famous quote by Elanor Roosevelt;

'Women are like tea bags. They do not know how strong they are until they get into hot water.'

My Dad is a big tea drinker and probably why I am too. I liked how the quote associated with this but reflected more on how I felt my Mum was strong during tough times after my Dad left. I played on the idea of tea association with conversations by writing down things I have never spoken about with Dad on luggage tags. Again it has this sense of nostalgia to it with the tea set and stuffed toys. The toys are bunny shaped because of the book my Mum used to read to me when I was younger; Guess how much I love you.

I love you to the moon and back.
