The cubby holes as shown before have picture frames in them. I thought you might like to see that they are not just picture frames which I am "pretending" have photos of my Mum and Dad in whilst they were together (including when they had me).
The idea behind them being displayed as they are is that they are of the past; it will never be like that again. I wanted the viewer to be intrigued as to what was in each frame but never knowing, in the same sense I will never know what my life would be like had my parents stayed together.
