So the final aspect of the kitchen was constructed and secured into place today; the cooker plinth. Although the cooker isn't functional it looked a bit lost sat on the floor so I decided to build a plinth so it was the same height as the work surface on the unit. It looks quite content on its new perch as you can see from the pictures also the other carpet isn't staying there it is just to protect the beige carpet from muddy shoes till the exhibition!! Next on the list...curtains.
(You can see also I have started to filter in some of my installation pieces for the exhibition; these are my childhood clothes in the small wardrobe. Look at those tiny socks!!)
